Mark Bradford is <strike>a painter</strike> 6 foot 8 inches tall <strike>former basketballer</strike> and <strike>loved</strike> fled the 80s “death” scene, he says. He’s a great comedian; I heard laughter from the suits. This guy’s got <strike>moxie</strike> adventuresomeness.

Mark Bradford’s show will make you jealous. Imagine the paintings way, way bigger than 500px. These are my favorite ones:

How You Like It Daddy, 2004
Billboard paper, acrylic gel medium, and add’l mixed media on canvas

It’s no secret that I’m highly interested in burger culture. It seems that McDonald’s Japan have been creating works of art in their secret laboratories. Too bad they can’t share it with me all the way in SF, CA. McD’s Japan is putting out America themed burgers. What a grand idea! Not only that, they previously went PoMo with ultra minimalism to the max with their Quarter Pounder shops! No branding with a two option menu, fries and drink included.

Make sure to check out all the burger pictures and ingredients. My body is probably feeling relieved as I’m chowing down on my homemade turkey sandwich. -McFatty McPatty

I ran into Michel Gondry some months ago at an art gallery...

I ran into Michel Gondry some months ago at an art gallery opening in LA.
